East Bay Gives!
On May 5, 2015, Ensemble Mik Nawooj is raising funds through East Bay Gives for the Oakland premier of our second album! This new work, by composer and pianist JooWan Kim, will be a reinvention of iconic hip-hop songs using Kim’s innovative music style.
Funds raised on the Day of Giving will be applied to a $3,000 matching grant from the East Bay Fund for Artists to help support the commissioning of this exciting new work.
